[Press Release] The 519 to Honour Esteemed Author John Irving with Ally Award
Each year during the final weekend of Pride, The 519 hosts the Green Space Festival featuring a series of signature events. Some of these events are held at the Barbara Hall Park. An international line-up of music producers and multimedia performances transform the space into a gorgeous festival venue.
The Festival is a major fundraising activity for The 519 and all funds raised through these events support our year-round community programs, services and free accessible space at The 519. The Festival and other activities held during this month have many positive impacts for our local neighbourhood and businesses, but also affect access to the Barbara Hall Park.
