Join us in honouring Indigenous History and Pride, as we delve into the intriguing world of 2 Spirit Pride and its connection with the broader 2SLGBTQI+ community. This is a wonderful opportunity to understand the concept of 2 Spirit and how its existence reinforces the entire community through art.
Please note that due to the 519’s Green Space Festival Pride event, there will be no programming from June 20 to July 10.
No need to register; just show up and enjoy the enriching experience. Contact Nicole at NTanguay@The519.org, or call or text at 647-684-1587
Wednesday, June 5: Exploring Indigenous Art
Join us for a 2 week workshop series, where we will create a collaborative, printed art piece using pre-carved Lino blocks and ink, along with exploring our personal stories and how it intersects with being 2SLGBTQ. We will also explore tools and techniques to explore ink block art.
