Human Rights Day 2022

December 10 is Human Rights Day. When our rights are under attack, we fight back. When they are threatened, we resist. When they are questioned, we advocate and educate. In the words of Maya Angelou, “No one of us can be free until everybody is free.”

Today and everyday, we affirm that…
2SLGBTQ+ rights are human rights.
Trans rights are human rights.
Indigenous peoples’ lives are sacred.
Black lives matter. Black futures matter.
Affordable housing is a human right.
Refugees’ rights are human rights.
Sex workers’ rights are human rights.
