Toronto, Ontario:

In response to increasing hate crimes targetting 2SLGBTQ+ communities, The 519 is holding a panel discussion featuring drag artists and community leaders. With the increased risk of violence threatening neighbourhoods, schools, cities, and communities, The 519 is holding an open forum discussion on strategies to ensure safety.

What: Enough is Enough: Community Panel Addressing Anti-2SLGBTQ+ Hate

  • Heath V. Salazar, Panelist (Latinx award-winning multidisciplinary performer and writer)
  • Syrus Marcus Ware, Panelist (Vanier scholar, visual artist, activist, curator, and educator)
