Notice of Annual General Meeting 2023

The 519 Board of Management invites you to join us for our Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Members 2023:

  • Wednesday, September 27, 2023,
  • 5:30 to 8pm local time
  • At The 519 [519 Church St.]. The AGM will also be broadcast virtually.

A meal will be served at 5:30pm, the business will begin at 6pm.

The meeting agenda, 2022 financial statements, annual report, and minutes from the 2022 AGM will be available online prior to the meeting.

The 519 Board of Management is proposing changes to the current bylaws for the Membership to approve. The full suite of proposed changes can be found here. 

Voters must attend the AGM in person to cast their ballot. Associate members and guests who are not eligible to vote are welcome to join in person or tune in virtually.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.

You can vote for The 519 Board of Management nominees for 2023 at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) if you are:

  • an existing member of The 519, and
  • live within our catchment area bounded by Bloor, Bay, Gerrard, and Parliament streets.

If you live within the catchment area but are not a member, or used to be a member, you can still be eligible to vote if you sign up or renew your membership by Monday, August 28, 2023.
