Sew My Mind (SMM) is a learning program that combines sewing classes with community knowledge exchange. As participants learn how to sew, they engage in conversations about their lives as newcomers to Canada, exchanging knowledge and reflecting on their journeys.

Who Can Join:

  • You are a Convention Refugee, Protected Person, or Permanent Resident.
  • You have a passion for sewing or are eager to learn the craft, whether as a hobby or a potential professional path.
  • You enjoy exploring self-help topics while connecting with others.
  • You are interested in sharing experiences as newcomers in Canada, and you value building connections within the queer community.
