The Trans People of Colour Project (TPOC) is designed to foster affirming social and community supports, greater access to food security, and access to meaningful sexual health promotion information for racialized 2 Spirit, trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse folks.

TPOC is an integral component of The 519’s support of BIPOC 2  Spirit, trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse community members within The 519, and has continued to provide support through the pandemic.

TPOC Thursdays Drop-in

Inviting racialized 2 Spirit, trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse folk to join us for weekly social and educational programs in a safe and affirming environment.

Runs every Thursday, from 3 to 5pm, at The 519

Highlights:

  • meal and refreshments
  • training and skills development
  • community leadership
  • affirming sexual health promotion information, and services

TPOC Resource Day

Drop by to receive dedicated referrals and resources that respond to the diverse needs of racialized 2 Spirit, trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse folks. Supported by The 519’s Trans People of Colour Project (TPOC) peers.

Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.

August 13 and 27, September 10 and 24, October 8 and 22. Nov 12 and 26, December 10.

Bees and Things and Flowers: 2STNB Sexual Health Education and Testing at HQ
