Queer and trans youth face homelessness at a much higher rate.

• Many youth are kicked out of their family homes, many are uncomfortable staying in shelters, and many face discrimination when trying to search for rental housing- especially BIPOC 2SLGBTQ+ youth.
• Many youth report not feeling safe with other service providers or in housing programs because of their 2SLGBTQ+ identity.
• Our community members are reporting that the rates of domestic violence, and violence experienced in housing, have increased dramatically since the start of the pandemic.
