Crisis Outreach and Support Team (COAST)
Crisis Outreach and Support Team (COAST) provides services to people experiencing a crisis related to mental health and addictions and serves all ages who are in crisis and have a mental health and addiction concern.
The Hope for Wellness Helpline is available to all Indigenous people across Canada. Experienced and culturally competent counsellors are reachable by telephone and online ‘chat’ 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Kids Help Phone is available 24/7 to help boost understanding of mental health so youth can feel more empowered to talk about it.
LGBT YouthLine is a 2SLGBTQ+ youth-led organization that affirms and supports the experiences of youth (ages 29 and under) across Ontario by providing anonymous peer support and referrals, training, and resources so youth can make informed decisions.
Naseeha Helpline (Muslim Support)
Naseeha is a Muslim mental health helpline that provides culturally competent and spiritually appropriate counseling to diverse populations.

Trans Lifeline is run by and for trans people. Trans Lifeline is a hotline and non-profit organization offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis.
Youth Space is a free online crisis and emotional support chat service for youth (ages 29 and under) across Canada. We listen without judgement and keep chats confidential.

The Assaulted Women’s Helpline offers a 24-hour telephone and TTY crisis line to all women who have experienced abuse.
Gerstein Centre’s crisis services include 24/7 telephone support, in-person mobile crisis team, community support referrals, substance use crisis management, follow-up and access to short-term crisis beds.
Talk4Healing Helpline offers help, support, and resources 24/7 through talk, text, and chat for Indigenous women and their families in a safe and accepting environment.
A trained and experienced peer counsellor is available to speak with any and all survivors of sexual and gender-based violence and their supporters. Our counsellors are here to listen to you, hold space, and offer emotional support.

Queer Asian Youth
ACAS’ Youth Program for East and Southeast Asians (ages 16 to 29) strives to increase education, opportunities, support and resiliency skills for Asian youth in Toronto in dealing with the various social/health challenges and questions of being LGBTQ+ and of other genders or sexualities.
The Black Queer Youth Collective is a grassroot group dedicated to providing opportunities and support to Black Queer and Trans youth in the GTA.

2STNB+ Connect Peer Support Group
This virtual peer support group assists youth (ages 16 to 29) across the gender identity spectrum to meet and connect with others in their community, explore their identities, and make friends.
The Friends of Ruby drop-in center is the place for 2SLGBTQ+ youth in the GTA (ages 16 to 29) to find counselling, practical supports and a sense of community.
George Chuvalo Neighbourhood Centre
LGBTQSI+ Youth
Inviting transgender/gender diverse/questioning youth (ages 12 to 18) to join for workshops, art activities, movie nights, and to connect with peers.
Lumenus offers programs and services (ages 0 to 29), all accessibility types, and specifies the type of support needed.
Planned Parenthood Toronto is a community health centre that offers free healthcare, resources, and a supportive community to help navigate health, sex, and relationships (ages 13 to 29).

Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) Network
The Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) Network is a space for 2SLGBTQ+ students, staff, and their allies in the TDSB to find community and resources.
A safe(r) space for queer, trans, and questioning youth in Scarborough. Toby’s Place is a weekly drop-in program for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, folks questioning their gender and/or sexuality, and friends and allies (ages 29 and under).
Cecil Community Centre’s children and youth programs (ages 0 to 29) offer to support the social, emotional and academic development of those in the diverse neighbourhoods we serve (including low-income, racialized and LGBTQ+).

Native Canadian Centre of Toronto (NCCT)
Youth Program
NCCT works to empower the Indigenous community in Toronto. Their youth programs offer educational support, physical supports, culture programming, recreational activities, Transitional Housing Support and so much more.
Next Generation Arts
Health Empowerment and Arts Leverage (HEAL)
A specialized arts-based program to explore youth voice and build resiliency and wellness. Participants (ages 13 to 29) will receive ongoing support and positive mentorship from performing artists and facilitators.
Polycultural has a number of programs to help youth to engage, integrate, adapt, and be active members in the community. Activities take place in a positive environment that empowers and motivates youth that makes them feel safe and welcome.
Skills for Change
Youth Programming
Skills for Change promotes meaningful participation and sustainable involvement of young people (ages 16 to 29) in decisions in matters which affect their community.
Sunflower Developmental Services
After-Hours Social Groups and Respite
Services for people with various developmental and health related needs (ages 3 and up) that offer life and social skills through community-based activities. Participants develop reading, money math, vocational, job skills and more.
TDSB
Community Programs
Free (all ages), accessible community programs and services for employment, English language classes and settlement for newcomers, career training, skills upgrading for adults and youth in the GTA.
Unity is a national charity that helps underserved youth develop resilience through Hip Hop. They offer free drop-in and registered programs for youth (ages 13 to 29), online and in cities across Canada.
Youth Rising Above focuses on transforming the lives of marginalized youth (ages 12 to 24) through dynamic, engaging and interactive programming opportunities, which build resiliency, skill and personal well-being.
YMCA
Newcomer Youth Leadership Development (NYLD)
Newcomer Youth Leadership Development offers program for newcomer youth (ages 13 to 24) a safe, supportive, and fun environment where you can hang out with new friends, learn new skills and participate in leadership opportunities. Youth can also gain meaningful volunteer hours and get academic support through our homework clubs.
COLAGE unites people with one or more LGBTQ+ parent into a network of peers and supports as they nurture and empower each other to be skilled, self-confident, and just leaders in our collective communities.
GPM’s focus is to support and empower LGBTQ parents and those wishing to become first time parents.
Native Youth Sexual Health Network (NYSHN)
The Native Youth Sexual Health Network (NYSHN) is an organization by and for Indigenous youth that works across issues of sexual and reproductive health, rights and justice throughout the United States and Canada.
Pflag Canada is a national charitable organization, founded by parents who wished to help themselves and their family understand and accept their 2SLGBTQ+ children.
TDSB
Gender and Sexual Diversity (GSD) Team
TDSB’s Gender and Sexual Diversity (GSD) staff are a team of social workers committed to promoting healthy relationships and safe environments in schools. In addition, they offer social work support to students and families.
Wellness and Emotional Support for Youth Online
WES for Youth Online offers free, ongoing, one-on-one counselling support with a professional counsellor. This is a self-referral service so that means you do not need to a guardian’s permission, talk to your guidance counsellor or get a doctor’s note.
The What’s Up Walk-In (WUWI) network is Toronto’s only free, six-day-a-week mental health counselling walk-in service for all ages. Therapists offer walk-in, single, solution focused sessions. The clinics help with topics such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, sexual identity, bullying, behavioural concerns, addictions, and more.
Black Youth Helpline serves all youth and specifically responds to the need for a Black youth specific service, positioned and resourced to promote access to professional, culturally appropriate support for youth, families and schools.
Central Toronto Youth Service (CTYS)
Central Toronto Youth Services (CTYS) is a community-based Children’s Mental Health Centre that serves many of Toronto’s most vulnerable youth.

One Stop Talk is a free service that provides immediate access to mental health services, when they’re needed, wherever they’re needed (ages 18 and under). They provide culturally safe and appropriate support to every corner of the province.
Egale is Canada’s leading organization for 2SLGBTQI people and issues. We improve and save lives through research, education, awareness, and by advocating for human rights and equality in Canada and around the world.
Send The Right Message aims to encourage straight and cisgender youth to challenge every day instances of homophobia, biphobia and transphobia, and to help them be allies to their LGBTQ+ friends.
